Royal Classical Ballet - Swan Lake

“Swan Lake” performed by the Royal Classical Ballet under the direction of Marcin Rolczyński is a classic ballet production created by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. It is one of the most famous ballets in the world. The story is about love, magic and sacrifice. Young Prince Siegfried falls in love with Odette, whom a powerful sorcerer has transformed into a swan. Rothbart vows to destroy their love and uses intrigue, manipulation and illusion to do so. The question remains whether love and determination will be enough to defeat the forces of evil. The production is enhanced by costumes and fairy-tale sets. The classical choreography is built on lightness, precision and perfection of form, while also allowing the dancers to express the characters' emotions and experiences. Tchaikovsky's music, which accompanies the performance, is among the most recognizable works in the ballet repertoire. The show is suited both to lovers of classical ballet and to those just beginning to discover the art of dance.
