Songs of the Forest

“Songs of the Forest” is a film about the Vosges forests, where Vincent Munier takes viewers. He learned everything about this place from his father, Michel, a naturalist who spent his whole life in the forest wilderness. Now the time has come to pass that knowledge on to Simon, Vincent’s son.

The protagonists are three generations united by a fascination with wild nature. The film features deer, rare birds, foxes and lynxes, and sometimes the flutter of wings of the legendary capercaillie.
