Most often at Aula Świdnica at the I LO (the First General Secondary School), which hosts most of the listings here. Besides it, cabaret evenings go to the sports hall in the Zawiszów housing estate and to the banquet room of Hotel Esperanto. These are halls not always associated with a stage, so before you leave check the event description to see exactly where the show starts, and plan your route in advance.
You will find both on the list. Cabaret is a group programme, often built from sketches, while stand-up is a solo comedian with usually fresh material. Both sit in one calendar, so they are easy to compare: if you like sketches and ensemble acting, pick cabaret; if you prefer a monologue, look for stand-up.
