“That’s Life” is a story inspired by real events, set on the sunny south coast of Sardinia. Its protagonist, Efisio Mulas, is a shepherd who lives life on his own terms and unexpectedly has to face an uncompromising developer. The newcomer wants to turn his home and land into a luxury resort.
At stake are multimillion offers and new jobs for the local community. A minor dispute grows into a battle full of emotion, but also comic absurdity. What's at stake is home, land, the future of generations to come, and the right to live according to one's own values.
