“The Coach’s Daughter” follows a summer journey across Poland, shaped by tennis tournaments. Maciej Kornet and his 17-year-old daughter Wiktoria make the trip. For many years, it has been just the two of them, always together. The event, part of Filmowy Wałbrzych, takes place on 27 November 2026 at 18:00 at Kino Apollo in Wałbrzych.
Cast:
Wiktoria is her father’s pride and joy, and he wants her to be the best. For her, he is her whole world. That changes when Igor joins them, a promising player whom Maciej begins to coach. Thanks to Igor, Wiktoria opens up to new experiences: her first cigarette, her first drink, her first love.
The three of them set off on a long journey in a rattling van, and each has their own goal.
