“The Mystic” (2D, Polish version)

“The Mystic” (2D, Polish version) is a film shown at Bogatyński Ośrodek Kultury (Sala Widowiskowa) in Bogatynia. The screening takes place on 30 November 2026 at 18:00. It tells the story of Alicja Lenczewska.

For many years she led a dynamic life. She was a devoted member of the Communist Party and a teacher described as demanding, responsible and wholly dedicated to her work. She enjoyed travelling abroad. It seemed her future had long been settled, but one encounter changed everything.

Despite the scepticism of those around her and her own fears, Alicja begins a profound spiritual life. Her mystical notes, full of sincerity, hope and wisdom, eventually reach thousands of people seeking answers about love, suffering, faith and the meaning of life.
