running time: 86 min.
“The Mystic” is a moving story, inspired by true events, about a woman who dared to follow the call of her heart and cross the boundaries of the familiar. It is a tale of inner transformation, the search for meaning in life, and the remarkable journey that led Alicja Lenczewska to experiences beyond material reality. For years, Alicja Lenczewska led a dynamic life. She was a loyal member of the Communist Party and a respected teacher: demanding, responsible, and wholly devoted to her work. She loved traveling abroad. It seemed her future had long been written. Until the day a single encounter changed everything... Despite the skepticism of those around her and her own fears, Alicja embarks on a path of deep spiritual life. Her mystical notes, full of sincerity, hope, and wisdom, eventually reach thousands of people seeking answers to the most important questions about love, suffering, faith, and the meaning of life.
