“The Mystic” tells the story of Alicja Lenczewska. For years she led a dynamic life: she was a loyal member of the Communist Party and a respected teacher, demanding, responsible, and wholly devoted to her work. She loved traveling abroad, and her future seemed long settled.
One meeting changed everything. Despite the skepticism of those around her and her own fears, Alicja embarks on a path of profound spiritual life. Her mystical notes, full of sincerity, hope, and wisdom, eventually reach thousands of people searching for answers about love, suffering, faith, and the meaning of life.
