The Optimists 2 - Our Lot on the Bus to Bulgaria

“The Optimists 2 - Our Lot on the Bus to Bulgaria” is a new production in which the Optimists return. This time, instead of an all-inclusive holiday in Egypt, the Krasucki family travels by an old bus to Bulgaria. The show mixes comedy with menace, quarrels with tenderness, and business with domestic chaos. It explores why the most important conversations happen on the road, and how family trips end in chaos.

Bulgaria is a place of family myths, shiny deals, and strong emotions. Along the way, questions arise: who will take over Janek's company, who deserves respect, and who needs a painkiller for the headache. Janek's son, Pawełek, and his wife, Jolka, are to take over the family business if Pawełek apologizes to his father for... the rest will be revealed during the show. Everything unfolds to the rhythm of Balkan music. The bus carries multigenerational grievances, ambitions, gold, and family intrigue, and according to the promotional material, no one will get off this journey the same as they got on.
