“Karius and Baktus” is a story by the Norwegian writer Thorbjørn Egner about two trolls who live in the mouth of a boy. He rarely brushes his teeth and loves sweets. The simple, instructive message combined with an engaging form made “Karius and Baktus” a favorite reading of Scandinavian children, and it has since been translated many times and adapted for the stage and screen. The Jelenia Góra production is vibrant and uses striking stage imagery. It is aimed at audiences aged three and up.
