A Son Paints Our Life

The play “A Son Paints Our Life” at the Scena na Strychu stage of Wrocławski Teatr Współczesny im. M. i E. Wiercińskich is inspired by the work of Patryk Różycki, an artist, painter and performer who was a two-time finalist of the “Polityka” Passports (in 2023 and 2025).

The creators draw on Różycki's works to examine his confrontation with family and social taboos. They are also interested in attempts to build understanding by seeking what connects people. In their view, this is especially worth attention in today's polarized world.
