“The Time That Never Came” is a film set in a world where old age has become the greatest taboo. It follows Sara and her partner Oskar, who had planned to grow old together naturally.
However, each of them made a different choice. Sara stayed true to the natural course of life. Oskar underwent an anti-ageing treatment that guarantees youth and a place in the new society. Years later, they unexpectedly meet. Their appearance divides them, but they are united by the lack of answers to questions they had long pushed aside.
The film asks whether love can survive time and irreversible change, and whether one can be free in a world that denies the right to aging.
