The action takes place in a luxury apartment in a modern skyscraper perched on a cliff, overlooking the sea. The building's architecture and location create an unsettling atmosphere that foreshadows what is to come.

The protagonists are two writers and friends, Harold Kent and Paul Riggs. For ten years they have written scripts for TV thrillers together. When Harold decides to go his own way, it comes to light what their bond is really built on. Both are ready to do anything to achieve their goals. A series of events and plot twists follows, culminating in a surprising finale.
