“Fur Tomorrow” is a farce by Ray Cooney, author of the three-part comedy “Mayday,” written together with John Chapman. The production features four scantily dressed ladies, underwear flying out of the window, piles of money, and lovers hidden in a wardrobe. The translation is by Elżbieta Woźniak, and the director is Dariusz Taraszkiewicz.
Gilbert Bodley, owner of an exclusive fur salon, never has enough beautiful women. He wants to give a new fur to his mistress Jane, but without upsetting her husband, so he offers him a huge discount. He is, however, very unpleasantly surprised when Jane's husband decides to buy a fur for his own mistress. That is only the beginning, as an endless series of mix-ups follows.
The show is a comedy with disguises and naughty jokes, described as a classic of British humour and a long-running presence on theatre stages.
