“You’ll See Everything” is a film directed by Nathan Fielder, creator of “Dress Rehearsal” and “The Curse,” and Lance Oppenheim, director of “Primetime” starring Robert Pattinson. It is billed as the cinematic event of the year and a strong Oscar contender. The film blurs the line between fiction and reality.
The story follows Elizabeth Holmes, founder of Theranos, dubbed the “female Steve Jobs.” She was sentenced to 11 years in prison for one of Silicon Valley’s biggest frauds. 34 days before she begins her sentence, comedian and provocateur Nathan Fielder enters her life, moving into her home to observe her final moments of freedom.
Holmes insists she is innocent and promises that Fielder’s camera will reveal a truth that will shake the world. She says only two words: “You’ll see everything.” This is how a film begins that defies genre boundaries and leaves one question open: what is a sincere confession, and what is just another deception?
