An 811 m peak in the Bystrzyckie Mountains above Zalesie, a good viewpoint over the Kłodzko Valley, on the yellow trail from Bystrzyca Kłodzka to Polanica-Zdrój.
Barczowa is a peak in the Bystrzyckie Mountains, in the Central Sudetes, rising above Zalesie in Kłodzko County. It is 811 metres above sea level.
The peak lies on the north-eastern edge of the northern part of the Bystrzyckie Mountains, east of Wójtowska Równia and Fort Wilhelm. To the north it neighbours the settlement of Huta. The slopes of Barczowa are cut by the valleys of three streams: the Szczawinka, a stream flowing through Zalesie, and the Drwina flowing through Wójtowice.
Barczowa is a very good viewpoint. From the summit and its southern slopes, views stretch out over the Kłodzko Valley and the upper valley of the Nysa Kłodzka, as well as the surrounding mountain ranges.
A yellow hiking trail runs across the slopes of Barczowa, connecting Bystrzyca Kłodzka with Polanica-Zdrój.
The route to Barczowa is easy to combine with visits to other historic sites in the region.
