A baroque palace from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries in the village of Boleścin near Świdnica, now privately owned and inhabited.
Boleścin Palace dates from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries and stands in the village of Boleścin, in the Świdnica municipality. In German sources it was known as Schloss Pollentschiene.
The building was erected on a rectangular plan, covered with a four-pitched mansard roof with dormer windows. The main entrance is at the front, beneath a balcony supported on four Doric columns.
The palace belonged to the von Reichenbach-Goschütz family, as evidenced by the family's heraldic cartouche placed on the building's western façade.
Today the palace is inhabited - it is private property, not a site open for visiting. It can be viewed from the outside, without entering the grounds.
A few kilometres away, in Świdnica, stands the Church of Peace, one of two historic churches of peace in Silesia.
In the same town it is also worth seeing the Cathedral of St Stanislaus and St Wenceslaus.
