The Wolności - 4 Czerwca road bridge over the Oder in Brzeg Dolny, opened in 2013, the town's first road bridge.
Wolności - 4 Czerwca Bridge, known simply as the bridge in Brzeg Dolny, is a road bridge over the Oder, opened on 28 October 2013 by President Bronisław Komorowski. It is the first road bridge in the town - previously the river was crossed by a ferry, which the bridge's construction made it possible to close down.
The bridge is 534 metres long and 15 metres wide. It is a multi-span concrete bridge, built over the main channel using the cantilever method, with a two-lane carriageway and pedestrian and cycling paths on both sides.
In the first stage of the project, the bridge over the Oder was built together with a bridge over the Jeziorka river and access roads on both sides of the river - linking the crossing with voivodeship road no. 341 on the right bank of the Oder and with a local road to the village of Głoska on the left bank. In the next stage, connections to national road no. 94 and voivodeship road no. 340 were added. The nearest crossings of the Oder are the bridge downstream near Lubiąż and the Rędzin Bridge in Wrocław upstream.
