A peak 755 m above sea level in the Rudawy Janowickie, crossed on its slopes by a blue trail and by the Main Sudetes Trail.
Bukowa is a peak at 755 m above sea level in the south-eastern part of the Rudawy Janowickie, in the Western Sudetes. It rises above Pisarzowice and is a popular destination for day trips in this part of the mountains.
The peak is built of Early Palaeozoic quartz-chlorite-albite schists and tuffites, belonging to the eastern cover of the Karkonosze granite. The slopes are covered with spruce forest with an admixture of beech and birch.
Two marked hiking trails cross Bukowa. The blue trail links nearby Skalnik with Kamienna Góra and forms part of the European long-distance path E3. The red trail crosses the south-western slope of the mountain as part of the Main Sudetes Trail named after Dr Mieczysław Orłowicz.
Bukowa lies within the Rudawy Landscape Park, which protects most of the Rudawy Janowickie.
