A neo-Baroque cemetery chapel from 1908 in Lądek-Zdrój, formerly an evangelical church, today a Catholic pre-funeral chapel.
The cemetery chapel in Lądek-Zdrój stands in the southern part of the parish cemetery at Śnieżna 12 street and serves as a Catholic pre-funeral chapel.
The building was erected in 1908 as the funeral church of the local evangelical parish, in the evangelical cemetery established at that time. It was funded by Adolf Kessel, who set aside a sum designated for this purpose in his will. After the Second World War the cemetery was taken over by the Catholic parish of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Lądek-Zdrój, and for a time the chapel was not in use. Renovation began in the 1990s, in 1996 the tower's dome was covered with copper sheeting, and at the start of the 21st century the facade and interiors were restored.
The chapel has a rectangular plan, a single tower and three narrow naves with no separate chancel, covered with a barrel vault with lunettes. It was erected in the neo-Baroque style, drawing on the Silesian Baroque of the mid-18th century.
