A Roman Catholic church in the Piastów Śląskich housing estate in Głogów, built from 1987 onwards, one of the largest buildings in the city.
The Church of Divine Mercy in Głogów is a Roman Catholic church in the Piastów Śląskich (II) housing estate, belonging to the Diocese of Zielona Góra-Gorzów and one of the largest buildings in the city.
Work on the church began in 1987. On 1 May 1989 Bishop Józef Michalik consecrated the construction site, and on 8 July of the same year the temporary chapel holding 420 people. Beneath the chapel, in former garages, catechism rooms and the parish office were set up.
