A late Baroque filial church from the 18th century in Piotrowice Górne, with a surviving wooden altar.
The Church of the Holy Family in Piotrowice Górne stands off the beaten track, in a small locality in Kłodzko County. It is a filial building, subordinate to the parish of St John the Baptist in Ołdrzychowice Kłodzkie, so it has no parish priest of its own and no fixed Mass schedule - it is served by clergy from the neighbouring parish.
The church was built in 1777 or 1779 in the late Baroque style. It is a single-nave building, built of brick, covered by a gable roof, with a single tower topped by a pyramid-shaped spire. From 1780 it bore the dedication of the Fourteen Holy Helpers, only later changed to the current one - the Holy Family. In 2008 the church underwent renovation.
Inside, a wooden, polychrome altar from the late 18th century has survived, along with other furnishings from the same period. Next to the church stands a stone cross with a German inscription "Opfer der Liebe" (a sacrifice of love), along with an additional plaque from 2013 bearing the same text in Polish.
A few kilometres away, in Ołdrzychowice Kłodzkie, to which this parish administratively belongs, stands the Oppersdorf Palace in Ołdrzychowice Kłodzkie.
Towards Bystrzyca Kłodzka, within a few kilometres, is also the Gorzanów Castle and a viewpoint on the hill of Wapniarka.
