A modern parish church of the Diocese of Legnica in Kamienna Góra, consecrated in 2018, with a tall four-sided tower.
The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Kamienna Góra is a Roman Catholic parish church belonging to the Diocese of Legnica. It stands in Kamienna Góra, a town at the foot of the Rudawy Janowickie and the Kruczy Mountains.
Construction of the church began in 1994. The foundation stone for the church was blessed in Legnica by Pope John Paul II on 2 June 1997, during his sixth pilgrimage to Poland. Bishop Tadeusz Rybak took part in the ceremony of laying the stone. The church itself was consecrated on 21 October 2018 by Bishop Zbigniew Kiernikowski.
The building has a rectangular plan, with a sacristy added on. On the main wall rises a tall, four-sided tower with chamfered edges, topped with a modern-form spire, a lantern and a cross. The windows are arranged as dormers along the edge of the roof, and above the chancel, on the roof ridge, sits a small ridge turret.
The church's interior is spacious and bright, with a ceiling made of wood. On a raised platform in the chancel stands the altar table with the tabernacle and the Blessed Sacrament, and beside it is a figural group depicting the Crucifixion.
