A museum in a historic tenement house in Kamienna Góra, dedicated to the history of folk and industrial weaving in Lower Silesia.
The Museum of Weaving in Kamienna Góra occupies a weaving complex in an 18th-century tenement house that once belonged to the merchant Johann David Fischer. It is a municipal organisational unit dedicated to the history of weaving in Lower Silesia.
The museum building was extended following a 2008 renovation to include a Baroque tenement house with a three-wing annexe and a covered courtyard. This gave the institution space for both permanent and temporary exhibitions.
The museum runs temporary and permanent exhibitions dedicated to folk and industrial weaving, as well as lessons and workshops for school groups. A conservation workshop also operates at the institution. On the town square next to the museum, the Kamiennogórska Giełda Retro, a market for antiques and collectibles, is held regularly.
