A peak 836 m above sea level in the Central Sudetes, in the Kamienne Mountains, a centre for winter sports, air sports and mountain biking with a viewing tower on the summit.
Dzikowiec, also known as Dzikowiec Wielki, is a peak 836 m above sea level with a prominence of 153 m, lying in the Central Sudetes, in the Dzikowiec and Lesista Wielka massif, in the north-western part of the Kamienne Mountains, about 3.4 km south of the centre of Boguszów-Gorce. The mountain's old German name was Großer Wildberg. The peak lies within the boundaries of the Wałbrzych Sudetes Landscape Park.
Dzikowiec is built of Permian igneous rocks, melaphyre and porphyry (latite), of volcanic origin, with a characteristic reddish colour. Because of this it has a sharp shape, resembling a steep dome, with steep, straight slopes.
The mountain serves as a centre for winter sports, air sports and mountain biking. Downhill mountain biking is especially popular here, a starting ramp for the downhill trail sits at the summit. Near the summit there is also the upper station of a cable car and a paragliding launch site. A viewing tower also stands on the summit.
Dzikowiec is crossed by a blue trail from Lesista Wielka via Stachoń, continuing towards Boguszów and Wałbrzych Sobięcin, and a green trail running from Marciszów Górny towards Wałbrzych Główny.
The peak neighbours Chełmiec, which has a viewing tower, and the mountain Waligóra.
