The restored mausoleum of Emil Schrape in the forest near Wodniki Górne in Milicz County, reached via a black cycle trail.
Emil Schrape's mausoleum stands in the forest around 600 metres west of Wodniki Górne, in Milicz County.
The structure was built as the tomb of Emil Schrape, who lived from 1860 to 1926, one of the last owners of the palace in Wodniki Górne. The mausoleum was completed in 1926 and he is the only person buried there.
After the Second World War the structure fell into ruin. In 2006 it underwent a thorough rebuilding along with the tidying up of its surroundings.
The mausoleum is reached via the black "Dookoła Krotoszyna" cycle route, which runs through woodland.
Not far away stands the palace in Trzebicko, and it is also worth looking for information about the region at the Gądkowice Library.
