A hill above Kłodzko occupied by the fortifications of the Kłodzko Fortress, visible in the town's skyline.
Forteczna Góra, also called Zamkowa Góra, is a hill 369 metres above sea level in the Kłodzko Valley, in the Central Sudetes, about 300 metres north-west of the market square in Kłodzko.
The hill has a flattened, poorly marked summit and rises about 70 metres above the surrounding area. Three slopes descend gently, while the fourth, facing the Nysa Kłodzka, is steep. The western slope is covered by a park with deciduous trees, lower down grows deciduous forest, and the summit area is made up of clay and deluvial deposits.
The hill is topped by the buildings and fortifications of the Kłodzko Fortress. From the east a tall, vertical wall of the fortress fortifications is visible from the town, which makes the hill recognisable in Kłodzko's skyline.
