A forested summit 549 m high in the northern ridge of the Kaczawa Mountains, in Złotoryja County.
Gackowa is a summit 549 metres high, lying in the northern ridge of the Kaczawa Mountains, north-east of Okole.
The hill is built of metamorphic rocks, greenstones and greenstone schists of the Kaczawa metamorphic complex, partly of Late Palaeozoic porphyry. It is entirely covered by spruce and beech-spruce forest, so there is no open panorama from the summit, it is a typical forested hill of the Kaczawa Mountains rather than a viewpoint with an open top.
In the Kaczawa Mountains range nearby lie also Skopiec and Góra Szybowcowa, and closer to Świerzawa, the Buczyna Storczykowa na Białych Skałach Nature Reserve.
