About Gawlik

A summit 788 m high in the Śnieżnik Massif, within the Śnieżnik Landscape Park, in Kłodzko County.

Gawlik is a summit 788 metres high in the Śnieżnik Massif, in the Eastern Sudetes, lying within the Śnieżnik Landscape Park.

Character of the summit

The summit and slopes are covered by spruce forest, typical for this elevation in the Śnieżnik Massif. Sources do not describe a tourist trail leading to the summit itself or a view from the top, it is rather a place for those moving off marked routes, surrounded by other summits of the massif.

Śnieżnik Landscape Park

Gawlik lies in the neighbourhood of the highest parts of the Eastern Sudetes, not far from Śnieżnik and Mały Śnieżnik, so it lies within the area covered by the landscape park's protection, where spruce forest and rocky ridges stretch across successive summits.

Nearby

Within a few kilometres are larger attractions of the region, including the Wilczka Waterfall and the observation tower on Śnieżnik.
