About Gorzyca Palace

A no-longer-existing 18th-century palace in Gorzyca near Lubin, known from an entry in the heritage register that also covers the park.

Gorzyca Palace, in the Lubin municipality, in Lubin County, was built in the 18th century. According to the available registers, the building itself no longer exists today.

Built in the 18th century

The palace was built in the 18th century, and some records give the exact year as 1800. The available sources do not explain who founded it or in what style it was designed.

A site that no longer exists

The available heritage registers classify the palace as a structure that no longer exists. It has not been possible to establish exactly when the building disappeared or what happened to it, so there is no standing residence to look for on site. The heritage register entry, under number 796 from 16 November 1960, concerns the historic estate, and the park by the palace was entered separately, under number A/2872/468/L, on 17 July 1976.
