A former hunting lodge in Domaszczyn on the Dobra river, today a private property under reconstruction since 2007, not open to visitors.
The Hunting Lodge in Domaszczyn, also called the Little Hunting Palace, stands on the Dobra river in Domaszczyn, in Wrocław County. It was formerly part of a larger palace-and-park complex in nearby Szczodre.
In the 19th century the building served as a meeting place for hunters after hunts organised by Wilhelm von Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Oels, Duke of Oleśnica and Duke of Brunswick.
The building was erected in the English neo-Gothic style, with a round tower in the south-eastern corner and decorative finishing elements resembling battlements.
The Hunting Lodge was destroyed in 1945. During the communist period it housed a paint and varnish factory. Since 2007 it has been in private hands, and its reconstruction is under way. It is now a private house, not open for visiting.
A few kilometres away stands the Korn Palace in Pawłowice, and closer, in Domaszczyn itself, the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
