A dome-shaped hill 722 m above sea level on the Polish-Czech border in the Bystrzyckie Mountains, with a green border trail and the Kamieńczyk-Mladkov Petrovický crossing.
Kamieńczyk is a dome-shaped hill 722 metres high, lying exactly on the Polish-Czech border in the southern part of the Bystrzyckie Mountains, in the Central Sudetes.
The summit has gentle slopes and a flat, barely distinct top, rising just 22 metres above the surrounding terrain. The southern and western side, on the Czech side, is covered with lower-montane spruce forest, while the northern and eastern slopes on the Polish side are occupied by meadows and disused farmland. Kamieńczyk is the highest point of a small massif closing off the Bystrzyckie Mountains from the south.
The Polish-Czech border runs straight across the summit, and with it the watershed separating the Baltic Sea drainage basin from the North Sea drainage basin. In the 1990s a deep ditch was dug along the border to make smuggling more difficult.
A green trail section running along the border passes near the summit, heading towards Trójmorski Wierch and on to Śnieżnik. At the foot of the north-western slope is the Kamieńczyk-Mladkov Petrovický tourist border crossing.
The nearest neighbouring hill is Kamyk, 800 metres away, with Bochniak rising a few kilometres further on.
