Kielich is a former water tower in Lubin, adapted for climbing and today one of the tallest artificial climbing walls in Poland.
The structure was adapted for climbing in 1996. It is 34 metres high and has 7 climbing routes of varying difficulty. At a height of 19 metres the wall leans out into a 15-metre overhang, which gives it its characteristic chalice shape - hence the name of the structure (Kielich means "chalice" in Polish).
The owner and manager of the structure is the Mountain Lovers' Association in Lubin. The association organises climbing events at Kielich of regional and nationwide scope, including several editions of the Poland Climbing Cup, the Polish Sport Climbing Championships and the Lubin National Championships for the City President's Cup. Recreational events for Children's Day and competitions for primary and lower-secondary school pupils are also held here.
