A 19th-century palace in Kochlice near Miłkowice, of which only vaulted cellars, a park and a garden pavilion have survived.
Kochlice Palace, in the village of Kochlice in the Miłkowice municipality, in Legnica County, has today practically ceased to exist - of the 19th-century building only vaulted cellars have survived.
The palace was built in the 19th century, but its structure itself has not survived. The heritage register records it under the entry "palace 213 from 31.05.1950 (no longer exists)" - that is, formal conservation protection remains, even though the building physically no longer exists. The only trace of the former residence is a set of vaulted cellars underground.
Of the whole complex, the park has survived and is listed in the heritage register, although its original layout is no longer legible. Two embankments overgrown with old trees have survived, along with a garden pavilion, listed separately in 1976.
Since the palace no longer exists, there is no question of visiting any interior - the site of the former complex can only be walked around, viewing the surviving trees and the garden pavilion.
In the area around Kochlice it is worth visiting the nature reserves in the Miłkowice municipality - Błyszcz and Ponikwa - and in Pątnówek stands another Lower Silesian residence, the Pątnówek Palace.
