A peak of the Kruczych Mountains above the centre of Kamienna Góra, with a baroque church on the slope and an underground tourist route inside.
Kościelna, in German Kirchberg, is a peak in the northern part of the Kruczych Mountains in the Central Sudetes, forming their northern end. It rises in the fork of the Bóbr and Zadrna rivers, right above the centre of Kamienna Góra.
The massif has two summits: the main one, rising to 513 metres above sea level, and a lower one, called Góra Parkowa, at 511 metres. It is built of Permian porphyries and Carboniferous sandstones and conglomerates belonging to the formations of the western wing of the Intra-Sudetic Basin.
On the north-eastern slope stands the baroque Church of Our Lady of the Rosary from the 18th century, known as the church of grace. Inside the hill runs the underground tourist route Project Arado, described as "Hitler's lost laboratory."
