A hill 462 metres above sea level in the Dziwiszów Hills near Jelenia Góra, with the ruins of a medieval castle and traces of a former observation tower from 1880-1906.
Koziniec is a hill 462 metres above sea level in the Western Sudetes, in the eastern part of the Jelenia Góra Valley, in the Dziwiszów Hills. It is the culmination of this group of hills and their highest point, about 5 km east of the centre of Jelenia Góra.
At the summit are metal elements of a former steel observation tower, erected between 1880 and 1906. On the slope, the ruins of a medieval defensive castle from the 14th century survive, with fragments of a stone wall and remains of cellars. Below the summit there is also a granite rock formation.
The summit is covered with forest, coniferous in the lower part and beech in the upper part. The slopes below the lower forest boundary are mostly covered with wild meadows.
