An inconspicuous peak of the Kowary Ridge in the Karkonosze, 946 m above sea level, near Kowary.
Łysa Góra is a peak in the Karkonosze (Giant Mountains), within the Kowary Ridge, rising to 946 metres above sea level near Kowary.
The mountain lies in the northern part of the Kowary Ridge, north-east of Wołowa Góra. The sources describe it as a not very prominent summit, without a distinctive peak visible from afar. It is built of metamorphic rocks of the eastern envelope of the Karkonosze granite, mainly gneisses.
The available sources do not mention any marked tourist trail leading directly across the summit of Łysa Góra, nor do they describe the view from its top. Anyone wanting to check the current marking of trails in the area in detail should check a tourist map of the Karkonosze National Park before setting out.
Kowary lies close to the greatest attractions of the Karkonosze: Śnieżka and the Wang Temple, and in the town itself it is worth visiting the Podgórze Mine and the Kowary Adits.
