The second-highest peak of the Owl Mountains (972 m above sea level), covered with spruce forest, in the Owl Mountains Landscape Park.
Mała Sowa is a hill 972 metres above sea level, in the central part of the Owl Mountains in the Sudetes.
In terms of height, Mała Sowa is the second peak in the Owl Mountains, right after the neighbouring Wielka Sowa, which reaches 1015 metres above sea level.
The summit and slopes of Mała Sowa are covered with spruce forests. Traces of tree stand damage are visible in the summit areas.
A forest road called the Imperial Road runs right over the summit, along which you can reach Wielka Sowa. A hiking trail leading from Walim to Wielka Sowa also runs close to the summit.
Mała Sowa lies within the Owl Mountains Landscape Park, which covers the whole range.
From the summit it is close to the observation tower on Wielka Sowa and to former underground wartime corridors, such as the Riese Włodarz underground complex.
