About Mikoszowa Palace

A 17th-century palace in Mikoszowa with an avant-corps and a mansard roof, built on a rectangular plan.

Mikoszowa Palace is a 17th-century residence in the village in the Żarów municipality, in Świdnica County. The building was erected on a rectangular plan, as a two-storey structure covered with a mansard roof with dormer windows.

Architecture

The front elevation is accented by a two-storey avant-corps, three windows wide near the roof, topped with a triangular pediment. This is a classic layout for noble residences of this region from the Baroque period.

What is missing from the sources

The available materials do not state who built the palace or which owners held it later. It is also not known whether a park has survived alongside the building, whether the site is listed on the heritage register, or in what condition it is today.
