A brick manor house from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in Mojesz, listed in the municipal heritage record, now a private residence.
The manor house in Mojesz is a brick building from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, standing at Mojesz 13 in the Lwówek Śląski municipality. To this day it serves as a private residence.
The manor house was built of brick, plastered, with sandstone elements visible in the architectural details. The building has two storeys with a usable attic, sits on a stone foundation, and its gabled roof is covered with metal roof tiles. The main facade has nine window axes, with the central axes set within a pseudo-avant-corps. The ground floor has rusticated masonry with clearly marked corners, and the upper floor has richly decorated window surrounds, features typical of late historicism.
The building is listed in the municipal heritage record under number 664. It is privately owned and serves a residential function, so there is no visiting and no access to the property; the manor house can only be viewed from the outside, from the road.
The manor house lies close to former railway line number 284, now converted into a pedestrian and cycle path. Nearby stretches the Lwówek Switzerland, and a few kilometres further on it is worth seeing the Market Square in Lwówek Śląski with the neighbouring town hall.
