About Museum of Forensic Medicine

The collection of the Department of Forensic Medicine of Wrocław Medical University, open only to groups by prior booking.

The Museum of Forensic Medicine operates at the Department of Forensic Medicine of Wrocław Medical University, at ul. Jana Mikulicza-Radeckiego 4. It is a university collection, not a public museum with a standing opening schedule.

Who can visit

Admission is not open to all - the museum does not accept individual visitors. Tours are organised in the form of what is known as a museum pathology lesson, a lecture combined with a guided walk through the room, intended for organised groups (for example students, universities of the third age). Groups are limited to 12 people because of the small size of the room, and admission is for adults only.

How to book

A visit must be booked in advance by email or telephone, and permission to admit a group from outside the university is granted by the head of the unit. There are no fixed days or hours for casual visitors.

Nearby

The medical campus lies close to the recreational areas across the Oder - from here it is not far to the Wrocław Zoo.

On the other side of Grunwaldzki Bridge stands the Centennial Hall with the park surrounding it.
