A collection of several hundred former warning and health-and-safety signs in a corridor of the Gold Mine in Złoty Stok, visited together with the underground route.
The Museum of Warnings, Remarks and Appeals is a collection of several hundred warning and information signs, arranged in one of the corridors of the Gold Mine in Złoty Stok. It is not a separate facility with its own entrance, but part of the underground route, visited together with the rest of the mine.
Several hundred warning and information signs from the past are hung on the corridor walls. Most come from former workplace safety regulations - they are instructions and warnings, many of which have a humorous character, quite unlike the strict tone of a typical health-and-safety sign.
The collection was created on the initiative of gathering signs from tourists, who received free entry to the mine in exchange. This allowed a sizeable collection to accumulate over time, one that cannot be found anywhere else in Poland.
