A Neo-Gothic building from 1860-1864 in the block in the middle of Wrocław's Market Square, the seat of the city authorities.
The New Town Hall in Wrocław is a building in the block in the middle of Wrocław's Market Square, erected in the second half of the 19th century as the seat of the city authorities.
The town hall was built between 1860 and 1864 to a design by Friedrich August Stüler. It was built of brick in the Neo-Gothic style.
The building serves as the seat of the mayor and the city council of Wrocław. That means the New Town Hall still performs the administrative function for which it was built.
The building is entered on the register of immovable heritage monuments, under entry numbers 206 of 30 December 1970 and A/2688/206 of 28 July 2010. The municipality in which this entry is held is Wrocław.
The Browar Spiż brewery occupies the building's basement. The New Town Hall stands right next to the older Gothic Town Hall on Wrocław's Market Square, and nearby are also the Wrocław Opera and the National Forum of Music.
