Our Folks Museum - Festival Memories

The "Our Folks" ("Sami Swoi") Museum - "Festival Memories" is a private memorabilia room devoted to Sylwester Chęciński's film trilogy, housed on the premises of a pizzeria in Gostkowice near Domaniów.

Collections

The exhibition presents objects related to the film trilogy: posters and photographs, a bicycle wheel, a globe, grenades and suitcases referencing props from the films. In a place of honour is displayed the "Crystal Grenade", an award given to the museum's founder by the "Sami Swoi" Comedy Film Lovers' Association in Lubomierz.

History

The museum's official opening took place on 3 October 2015. Its founder is Edward Masłowski, for years associated with the Comedy Film Festival in Lubomierz. Every year, "Festival Memories" meetings are held on site with the participation of the festival's creators and fans of the trilogy.
