A palace from 1572 in Ołdrzychowice Kłodzkie, home to a state farm from 1949 to 1990, now abandoned and deteriorating.
The palace complex in Ołdrzychowice Kłodzkie stands on Polna Street in the village of Ołdrzychowice Kłodzkie, in the municipality of Kłodzko. The original manor house on this site dates from the 14th century, and construction of the present complex began in 1572.
The first owner of the estate was Hanko Knoblauchsdorf. From 1709, the rebuilding was carried out by Johann Georg von Schenckendorf. In 1744 the Kingdom of Prussia confiscated the estate and handed it to Prussian generals.
A further rebuilding, in the Baroque style in the 18th century and with Classicist elements in the 19th century, was carried out by the Magnis family, owners of the palace from 1793. The family has its own mausoleum in Ołdrzychowice.
After the Second World War, between 1949 and 1990, the palace housed the headquarters of a state farm (PGR). It is now owned by the Agricultural Property Agency of the State Treasury, and the buildings stand empty and are deteriorating.
