A reinforced concrete bridge from 1995 over the Dobra river, linking the Wrocław districts of Zakrzów and Pawłowice.
Pawłowicki Bridge, formerly known as Dauber Brücke, crosses the Dobra river in Wrocław and links the districts of Zakrzów and Pawłowice along Przedwiośnie Street.
Today's bridge was built in 1995 using reinforced concrete technology, after the demolition of an earlier crossing in the same location. It has a single span of slab-and-beam construction, a length of 23.85 m and a width of 12.2 m. The roadway takes up 7 m, with pavements 1.5 m wide running along both sides. The road surface is currently bituminous.
In 1974-1975, during the rebuilding and regulation of the Dobra, a single-span steel bridge was erected on this site, with a span of 12 m and a roadway width of 7.5 m, with two pavements of 1.25 m each. This bridge was demolished in 1995, and the present crossing was built in its place.
Bus line 130 runs across the bridge, linking Zakrzów and Pawłowice with the rest of Wrocław.
Towards the centre of Wrocław, a few kilometres from here, lie Szczytnicki Park and the Japanese Garden, worth combining with a trip through this part of the city.
