A Neo-Gothic parish church from 1890-1892 in the Kraszowice district of Świdnica.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus Church stands on Przyjaźni Street, in the Kraszowice district of Świdnica. It is a Roman Catholic parish church belonging to the Świdnica-East deanery of the Diocese of Świdnica.
The church was built between 1890 and 1892 in the Neo-Gothic style. It arose as an extension of a manor house previously given over to charitable purposes - it originally housed a chapel of the Sisters of St Elizabeth.
The church is notable for lacking a so-called conciliar altar - Mass is celebrated here with the priest facing away from the congregation, in the arrangement used before the liturgical reform. On 30 March 2016, a new Neo-Gothic altar retable was installed, with a sculpture depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus and figures of St Hedwig and St Stanislaus.
The building was entered in the heritage register under number A/980/1-2, with the entry dated 25 October 2006.
In the centre of Świdnica, a few minutes' drive from here, stand the Church of Peace in Świdnica and the Cathedral of St Stanislaus and St Wenceslaus. Nearby them, the Museum of Old Trade in Świdnica is also open.
