Široký vrch is a hill 839 metres above sea level, lying on the Polish-Czech border in the Central Sudetes, in the Kamienne Mountains, in the central part of the Suche Mountains range.
The Polish part of the hill lies south-west of Głuszyca, in Wałbrzych County. The Czech side lies within the Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area.
The mountain is built of Permian quartz porphyries, also called trachytes, belonging to the northern flank of the Intra-Sudetic Basin. The slopes are covered by spruce forests, in places mixed or deciduous, including beech woods.
A green hiking trail running from Tłumaczów to Goliński crosses right over the summit, and can be climbed from the Polish side.
