A nature and landscape complex covering 33 ha on the slope of Ślęża, protecting a group of rocks within the Ślęża Landscape Park.
The "Skalna" Nature and Landscape Complex covers 33 hectares on the south-western slope of Mount Ślęża, in Sobótka municipality. It protects a group of rocks, and its main value lies in the geological, natural and landscape features of this place.
The complex was approved on 5 February 1994 by an ordinance of the Wrocław voivode. It lies in the northern part of the Ślęża Landscape Park, and the area has also been given international protection as part of the Natura 2000 special area of habitat conservation called the Ślęża Massif.
The subject of protection is a group of rocks on the slope of Mount Ślęża. It was this rock formation and the geology of the area that led to this place being given protection, not a single species of plant or animal.
