Słoneczna is a hill 949 metres above sea level, in the Owl Mountains, in the Central Sudetes, in Dzierżoniów County. The German name for the peak is Sonnenkoppe.
The summit lies in the central part of the Owl Mountains range, north-west of Kalenica, about 2.5 kilometres north-east of the centre of the village of Jugów.
The hill has a dome-like shape, with a not very distinct, elongated summit, one of the higher ones in these mountains. The south-eastern slope descends gently, merging into a ridge, while the other slopes are fairly steep. Near the summit lie the Słoneczne Skałki (Sunny Rocks). The summit is mostly covered by beech forest, in which a dwarfed lower-montane beech, rarely found at this altitude, grows.
The hill lies within the Owl Mountains Landscape Park, and the summit itself lies within the boundaries of the Bukowa Kalenica nature reserve.
The highest-rated peak in the vicinity is Wielka Sowa. The closest is Kalenica, along with the Kalenica Observation Tower.
